Thomas Kelly Youth Foundation to keep city streets safer with your help

At 18 years of age, Thomas Kelly was the victim of a fatal unprovoked alcohol-fuelled violent attack on a Saturday night in Kings Cross in July 2012.

The Thomas Kelly Foundation created in Thomas’ honour by his father Ralph Kelly, who has a long history in the tourism and events industry, and his mother Kathy Kelly, to help eradicate the alcohol-fueled violence on our city streets.

The foundation was launched in a star-studded fundraising dinner at The Star Event Centre on Wednesday, 18 September 2013.

Supported by The Star and hosted by Richard Wilkins and Matthew Hayden, with entertainment by Jessica Mauboy and Don Walker the event raised much needed funds to help make our streets safer!
